Day 10 — Common verbs & forming questions (A1)

Ziel (Goal): Use 10–12 frequent verbs to build yes/no questions and answer them in full sentences.

1. Core Verb List

• Learn 10–12 verbs: gehen, kommen, essen, trinken, arbeiten, lernen, wohnen, sprechen, sehen, kaufen etc.
• Write them with English meaning and say each infinitive out loud.

2. Build Yes/No Questions

• Write 10 questions: “Gehst du heute ins Büro?”, “Arbeitest du morgen?”, “Sprichst du Deutsch?”.
• Under each question, write a full-sentence answer: Ja, ich gehe heute ins Büro. / Nein, ich arbeite morgen nicht.

3. Q&A Conversation with Wife

• Use your 10 questions to interview your wife in German.
• She always answers with a full sentence; not just Ja or Nein.
• Swap roles and she interviews you with the same or new questions.

4. Speaking Drill

• Pick 5 verbs from the list and say one simple sentence with each (no questions, just statements).
• Example: “Ich lerne Deutsch.”, “Wir wohnen in Dubai.”
