Day 8 — Family vocabulary & simple descriptions (A1)
Ziel (Goal): Talk about your family using simple words and short descriptive sentences.
1. Family Vocabulary
- Learn 15–20 words: Mutter, Vater, Bruder, Schwester, Onkel, Tante, Cousin, Cousine, Oma, Opa, Ehefrau, Ehemann etc.
- Write them in a list with English meaning for quick review.
- Say each word aloud 3 times.
2. Describing Your Family
- Write 5–6 sentences about your close family (who, where they live, simple detail).
- Example: “Meine Mutter wohnt in Indien.”, “Mein Bruder ist verheiratet.”.
- Read your text aloud and check if verbs are in position 2.
3. Partner Discussion
- Tell your wife in German about 3 family members.
- Ask her 3 questions: “Hast du Geschwister?”, “Wo wohnen deine Eltern?” etc.
- She answers in full sentences; then swap roles.
4. Quick Pronunciation + Memory Drill
- Choose 5 family words that are hardest to remember or pronounce.
- Repeat each one 10 times and use it in one simple sentence.
