Day 1 β German alphabet & basic greetings (A1)
Ziel (Goal): Get familiar with German letters, basic sounds and simple greetings so you can say hello and introduce yourself very simply.
1. Alphabet & Sounds
- Learn the German alphabet with audio (A, B, C β¦ plus Γ, Γ, Γ, Γ). Say each letter out loud after the audio.
- Repeat the alphabet 2β3 times slowly. Focus on clear mouth movement, not speed.
- Spell out loud: your full name, your wife's name, and "Dubai" using German letter names.
2. Basic Greetings
- Learn and repeat: Hallo, Guten Morgen, Guten Tag, Guten Abend, Gute Nacht, TschΓΌss, Auf Wiedersehen.
- Practice short lines like: Hallo, ich bin β¦, Guten Morgen, Wie geht es dir?, Gut, danke.
- With your wife, perform a 6-line greeting dialogue only in German.
3. Mini Speaking Task (With Wife)
- You: βHallo, ich bin [Name].β
- Wife: βHallo, ich bin [Name].β
- You: βGuten Morgen. Wie geht es dir?β
- Wife: βMir geht es gut. Und dir?β
- You: βMir geht es auch gut. TschΓΌss.β
- Wife: βTschΓΌss.β
4. Quick Writing (Very Short)
- Write your name and your wife's name in German letters.
- Write 3 greeting lines you want to remember and read them aloud.
Hinweis: Do not chase perfection. Today is only about getting your tongue used to new sounds and saying a few basic lines.
